Verizon Seeks New Jersey Organizations to Apply for Literacy Grants
Deadline: May 15, 2009
Thanks to the support of Verizon customers who participated in the company’s Check Into Literacy program, New Jersey literacy organizations are eligible to receive a total of more than $300,000 in grants.
To qualify for funding, applicant organizations must have 501(c)(3) status and provide basic reading skills and computer literacy programs to New Jersey residents in underserved communities in Verizon’s landline service territory.
Grants will range from $1,000 to $30,000 each.
