Literacy and Help On Call program coordinators, RSVP

RSVP, which serves Montgomery, Delaware and Chester Counties, is seeking a part-time Help On Call Program Coordinator and a Literacy Program Coordinator.

Help on Call Program Coordinator
Responsible to: Director of Community Engagement
Hours: 18 hours per week (4 days/week, flexible)
Primary Objective: Recruit, train and match volunteers with seniors and special needs clients in Montgomery County, provide volunteer services that support wellbeing and independent living. This includes transportation, friendly visits, grocery shopping, book keeping, bill paying, household organizing and minor home repairs.

Family Literacy Program Coordinator
Primary Objectives:

  • Provide trained volunteers to help preschoolers develop their reading skills.
  • Work with Head Start and other select preschools in the counties of Montgomery, Chester and Delaware and Children’s Village in Philadelphia.
  • Coordinate activities that support the family literacy programs.
