Life sciences career fair scheduled
Campus Philly and the Life Sciences Career Alliance will present the Life Sciences 09 Career Fair on November 19th from 9:30am to 1:30pm.
The fair will target college and entry-level talent for internships, co-ops, and jobs in the fields of biotechnology and bioengineering; life sciences research; medical device manufacturing; pharmaceuticals; business support functions (marketing, accounting); and educational programs in the life sciences field.
Employers can sign up to and recruit area college students looking to gain experience in the life sciences field. Even if your organization does not have job openings, consider hiring an intern or co-op. These positions can be paid, unpaid, or class credit opportunities. In-kind contributors can recruit employers in their network and be listed on the event website as a contributor. Companies can also become a sponsor by offering financial support to the event.
The Life Sciences 09 Career Fair will take place Thomas Jefferson University, Alumni Hall, on Locust Street between 10th and 11th Streets in Philadelphia, and will dovetail with a week of bio-related events in our region.
