LGBTQ State of the Union
Posted by Mayor's Office of LGBT Affairs on May 28, 2018
The Mayor’s Office of LGBT Affairs and Mayor’s Commission on LGBT Affairs are excited to announce a groundbreaking event for Philadelphia, this year’s first Community Conversation: The LGBTQ+ State of the Union! A first of its kind event for the city, The LGBTQ State of The Union provides an opportunity for Executive Directors and Board Presidents from Philadelphia’s LGBTQ+ specific service organizations to interface directly with the community. The leadership of these organizations will deliver TED-talk style presentations on their accomplishments for the year, outline their goals for the upcoming year, and answer questions face-to-face with LGBTQ+ Philadelphians. This is a unique opportunity to connect, learn, and get involved with LGBTQ+ issues in Philadelphia! We invite all community members to join us at the Kimmel Center- the biggest venue for a Community Conversation yet!
When: Tuesday, May 29 at 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Where: The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, 300 S Broad St
