5th Annual Community Festival
Dear Friends:
The Let’s Love Logan Community Association in partnership with the Beloved St. John CDC, cordially invites your organization to participate in our 5th Annual “Let’s Love Logan Community Festival”.
Our festival will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2005 from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Our event will take place at the intersection of the new home of the Beloved St. John Evangelical Church located at Broad Street and Belfield Avenue. The rain date for our event is Saturday, September 17, 2005.
Our festival will include: food vending, games, children’s activities, health screenings, resource tables, voter registration, drill team performances, gospel choirs, a 9/11 memorial tribute, back-to-school giveaways, an anti-violence rally, face painting, story telling, a marketplace, & more.
The purpose of our festival is to educate Logan residents of health & community resources, provide free health screenings, and to celebrate unity in our community.
If your organization would like to participate as a resource provider or vendor, please reply to me by e-mail or by phone, no later than July 31, 2005.
Also, please watch for our festival message to display atop the PECO Crown Lights Building on 9/2, 9/5, and 9/9.
We look forward to hearing from you and we thank you in advance for your participation.
