Marla K. Conley, a founding partner of Conley Fleming LLP, will discuss basic legal requirements applicable to charitable fundraising, including:
- state filing obligations
- federal tax implications
- providing substantiation documentation for donors
Ms. Conley will also provide an introduction to related contract and tax issues, including:
- working with for profits and third parties
- corporate sponsorships
- the unrelated business income tax
- planned giving
