Posted by Leeway Foundation on February 25, 2020
ABOUT THE LEEWAY FOUNDATION
The Leeway Foundation is a Philadelphia-based independent foundation that supports women, trans*, and gender nonconforming artists and cultural producers working in communities at the intersection of art, culture, and social change. Through the Foundation’s grantmaking and other programs, we promote expression that amplifies the voices of those on the margins, promotes sustainable and healthy communities, and works in the service of movements for change.
A Leeway internship is an excellent opportunity to learn about grantmaking at the intersection of art and social change. This internship is designed to expose interns to philanthropy and the nonprofit sector and provide them with rich learning experiences. This internship is an excellent opportunity to learn about the foundation’s communications, public relations, as well as social media strategy and administration. The intern will assist the Communications Director and the Community Outreach and Communication Assistant to advance Leeway programs, mission and, community through communications.
