Lecture/Community Dialogue on “The Boomers’ Guide to Good Work”
Posted by on October 21, 2005
It is my pleasure to invite you to be our guest for a special Boomervision!(TM) session at 5:30 p.m., Monday November 14, 2005, at WHYY, 150 N. 6th Street, Philadelphia.
Boomervision(TM) is a lecture/community dialogue series presented by Coming of Age that deals with opportunities and challenges presented by the transition from work to the next phase of life.
At the November 14 session, Ellen Freudenheim, author of The Boomers’ Guide to Good Work, will speak about ways to undertake meaningful work while still generating income. Copies of her Guide will be given to all.
After Ellen’s presentation we will demonstrate/celebrate our new website — a portal to interactive resources on life planning, volunteering, learning, work in retirement, caregiving and more.
At the celebration, you will learn about the thousands of volunteer and learning opportunities on the site, can interact with the Guides who share their expertise and answer users’ questions, and meet those whose volunteer, learning and transition stories the site celebrates.
