LEARNS Institute for Education Focused Volunteer Programs
Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix Midtown, Phoenix, AZ
The LEARNS partners are pleased to invite you to this exciting training event. Interactive workshop sessions will include:
* Train-the-trainer sessions to orient and support volunteer tutors and mentors
* Sessions on elements of successful tutor, mentor, and out-of-school-time programs
* Beginning and advanced sessions on education program management
We welcome the participation of national service staff of tutoring, mentoring, literacy, and out-of-school time programs and their partners, including Federal Work Study tutoring coordinators, 21st Century Community Learning Center program coordinators, and school partners. National service programs are encouraged to attend with education partners.

LEARNS is a partnership of the Northwest Regional Educational Laboratory and the Bank Street College of Education. We are funded by the Corporation for National and Community Service to provide training and technical assistance to projects focused on tutoring, mentoring, literacy, and out-of-school time.
