For over 50 years the Kate Hurd-Mead lecture has been a prestigious event in Philadelphia medicine. This year’s lecture will be a stimulating exploration of “lessons learned” from individual and institutional struggles to advance women in medicine, and why “having women become more like men” won’t work.

Sponsored with enthusiasm by the Section on Medical History of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia, Drexel University College of Medicine, and the Institute for Women’s Health Leadership.
