Valentine Foundation Invites Applications from Philadelphia Organizations for Leadership Training for Women Executives
The Valentine Foundation is accepting applications from organizations in the greater Philadelphia area to the Valentine Fund for Visionary Leadership, an endowment that provides support for leadership training for women executives in the nonprofit sector.
Grants totaling up to $25,000 will be awarded to one to five organizations working to improve the lives of women and girls in the region by making current women leaders more effective, developing the next generation of women leaders, and fostering a community of women leaders.
To be eligible, organizations must be considered tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, have a paid staff operating in southeastern Pennsylvania, and have a primary focus of benefiting women and/or girls through direct service, advocacy, public policy, and/or capacity building.
An informational teleconference will be held on July 13, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
