Disabilities group offers leadership training
The Pennsylvania Training Partnership for People with Disabilities and Families is offering an Introduction to Leadership Development workshop to introduce participants to the idea of becoming a community leader.
The workshop describes the qualities and skills needed to develop leadership. The importance of becoming a self-advocate is highlighted. The program gives participants lots of opportunities to ask and answer questions about learning leadership skills. This training was developed and is presented by self-advocates.
The training will be held on April 13th from 6-7:30pm at the Free Library of Philadelphia, 5543 Haverford Avenue, in Philadelphia.
