The Youth Urban Renewal Arts Program (Youth RAP) offers 11 to 14 year old students the ability to creatively express their community concerns through the visual and performing arts. Both after school and during the summer, students of the North and Northeast Philadelphia Community design artistic expressions which demonstrate their civic engagement.
The Youth RAP program seeks a lead teacher for one of its after school program. SInce the actual working hours are only from 3pm to 6pm per day, Youth RAP seeks a candidate that will utilize their free time to create and implement a successful youth led civics curriculum that will inspire students to use their artistic expression as social action. We seek a HIGHLY self-motivated and invested individual who demonstrates the ability to run this demanding program. Additionally, this person must demonstrate a commitment to the programs ideals and its growth.
