Youth Service, Inc. a private non-profit child welfare agency; has a Lead Child Care Teacher job opening at the Baring House Crisis Nursery located in West Philadelphia. This is a full time position with benefits. Responsibilities include: developing, planning and leading the curriculum for children ages 2-5 attending the crisis nursery; and assisting the supervisor to ensure the efficient operation of the program. Candidate must have a Bachelors’ degree in Early Childhood Education or related field of study; or an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education with two years preschool experience. Must have the ability to respect and appreciate cultural background and heritage identity of persons served. Good written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy are required.
