Group seeks agency sponsors for Global Youth Service Day
Youth Service America will support up to 100 Global Youth Service Day and Semester of Service lead agencies for GYSD 2012 (April 20-22, 2012).
Lead Agencies are local, regional, or statewide organizations that increase the scale, visibility, and impact of Global Youth Service Day by leading GYSD in their city, region, or state.
YSA and The Sodexo Foundation are accepting applications from organizations to serve as 2011-2012 Sodexo Lead Organizers. Sodexo Lead Organizers will work with partner organizations to engage at least 600 youth volunteers in learning about and addressing the issue of childhood hunger in their communities, beginning during Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week (November 14-20) and continuing through Global Youth Service Day (GYSD) (April 20-22, 2012).
