What is SEAMAAC?
Since 1984 SEAMAAC has brought crucially needed support to tens of thousands of families in the Greater Philadelphia area. Today SEAMAAC stands as one of the oldest and largest refugee founded agencies in the region with a workforce of over 80% bi/multi-lingual staff serving constituencies from as many as 18 distinct linguistic communities. Each year SEAMAAC serves hundreds of immigrant and refugee families as well as native-born individuals and families through our programs in education, health and social services.
Become a Young Friend!
Roles & Expectations:
• Support the mission and goals of SEAMAAC
• Become a knowledgeable ambassador for SEAMAAC
• Actively recruit and retain supporters to enhance SEAMAAC’s network
• Plan and execute two social/networking events and at least one major volunteer opportunity for Young Friends of SEAMAAC network
• Build relationships with individuals, organizations, and corporations within the community
• Participate in one committee
• Pay annual membership fee of $50/year
