Posted by Drexel University on March 15, 2022
Drexel University’s Department of Civil, Architectural & Environmental Engineering invites applications for a Lab Manager to assist in project management, research, field monitoring, stakeholder engagement, proposal development and administrative duties.
With many governmental and non-governmental partners, the Sustainable Water Resource Engineering (SWRE) Laboratory at Drexel University works on a wide range of projects addressing the challenges of managing water in urban environments, adapting cities to the new challenges presented by climate change, as well as sustainability and resilience in general. The lab’s current focus is on the impacts of extreme precipitation and extreme heat, with extensive background experience in green infrastructure. Our work is applied, interdisciplinary, and participatory. We primarily work with communities, utilities, and government agencies in the Northeast US, including Philadelphia, New York, Camden, and others. The lab is situated in the Department of Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering and will be supervised by Dr. Franco Montalto.
Applications close: April 30, 2022
