KWRU Summer of Social Action
Posted by on April 2, 2004
This summer, the student committee of the Kensington Welfare Rights Union and the Poor People’s Economic Human Rights Campaign would like to invite you to join us for the summer!
The summer of social action is a program for students and young people concerned with social justice which merges education and action. This is a unique opportunity for students to immerse themselves in the struggle to end poverty in the United States. This summer we will be working on a number of local and national actions, including the March for Our Lives on the opening day of the Republican National Convention.
The application is available at http://www.kwru.org
Please look it over and think about applying. The application is due April 12, 2004.
