Kristin Mitchell Foundation supports date violence prevention
The mission of the Kristin Mitchell Foundation is to support educational efforts that raise awareness among young adults about the dangers of unhealthy dating relationships. The foundation is now accepting grant proposals for the 2010 funding cycle.
KMF plans to award three grants, at a maximum level of $2,500 each, to non-profit organizations and educational institutions. The grants will support projects that address dating violence prevention and awareness on college campuses.
In order to be eligible for funding, project activities must take place in one or more of the following geographic areas: Bucks County, Chester County, Delaware County, Montgomery County or Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Howard County, Maryland.
