(3 CEC’s) Continuing Education Credits for Pennsylvania Licensed Social Workers, Pennsylvania Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Pennsylvania Licensed Professional Counselors and Pennsylvania Licensed Family Therapists
In order to respond to the needs of Korean Americans, as well as assisting mainstream health and social service providers to understand the unique health, education and cultural needs of the Korean community, the North Penn Area Coalition for Korean Americans (NPACKA) along with many other sponsoring organizations will be hosting a Health and Education Expo at Pennbrook Middle School, in North Wales, PA 19454 on May 8, 2010, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free to the public. The Expo will offer Korean Americans and other participants, many opportunities to: understand more about the Korean American Needs Assessment Report, learn about various health and human service organizations, explore mental health issues and cultural differences, and identify health issues and concerns impacting Korean senior citizens.
If you are a Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Professional Counselor in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, you are eligible to receive 3.0 Continuing Education Credits for attending the morning portion of the Korean Health & Education EXPO through NPACKA’s partnership with Family Services of Montgomery County. Attendees eligible for CECs must sign-in and attend the entire morning program (without exception); those unable to attend the entire morning program of the EXPO are not eligible to receive partial CECs.
