SOCIAL MEDIA ENTREPRENEURSHIP CHALLENGE
You and your friends are invited to design and implement a social media strategy for Knowledge@Wharton High School. The goal of the challenge is to design the best social media strategy and to get as many high school students and teachers as possible to register for the site. Winning teams will be invited to a “Leadership Day” at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School!
WHO
• School District of Philadelphia High School Students (grades 9-12)
• Students can participate in teams of up to four students
WHAT
• Develop a strategic plan that uses social media (e.g., Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Youtube, etc.) or other technology (e.g., email)
• Implement your strategic plan and see how many of your friends register
WHEN
• November 28th: Registration begins!
• December 5th:The Challenge begins!
• January 13th: End of challenge – Strategic plan due
• January 27th: Winners announced
• February 11th: KWHS Leadership Day at Wharton

• Please note students can register after the Challenge begins
PRIZES
• There will be one winning team from each high school
• Each team will be invited to a Leadership Day at the Wharton School
