Concerned about your students’ financial illiteracy? Teach personal finance? Our Keys to Financial Success program provides you with the tools you need to teach your high school students how to be financially successful. Find out what thousands of students and hundreds of teachers have learned over the last 15 years: The Keys program offers the biggest gains in student personal finance knowledge of any financial literacy program in the country.
Join us July 9 to 13, 2018 for our Keys to Financial Success teacher-training program. You will leave with the curriculum materials and expertise you need to start your class off right away in the fall. Earn 30 professional development hours (Act 48 in Pennsylvania) at our convenient headquarters on Independence Mall. Breakfast and lunch are included each day.
Composed of 52 lessons designed to help educators teach high school students about personal finance using active and collaborative learning, Keys to Financial Success is a comprehensive plan for a semester or yearlong personal finance course. In Keys to Financial Success, students learn the knowledge, skills, and processes required to make sound financial decisions and manage their own personal finances. The lessons engage students in critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making.
A recent study showed that Keys students, on average, increase their personal finance knowledge by over 60 percent from the beginning to the end of the course. And, another recent study showed that male and female students do equally well in Keys courses. Keys represents the best opportunity for you to get the training and curriculum materials you need to teach your own personal finance course. Even if you have been teaching personal finance for years, consider retooling with the Keys to Financial Success model.
