Montgomery County Community College – KEYS Student Facilitator
Montgomery County Community College has a temporary part-time opening for a KEYS Student Facilitator.
The purpose of the 25-hour a week position is to provide the encouragement and support necessary to enable KEYS participants to complete their course of study at the community college. KEYS provides students with the education and skills necessary to achieve self-sufficiency for themselves and for their family.
The position will work closely participants to remediate barriers and ensure continued participation at community college; help participants develop career-specific education plans and coordinate financial aid and help students access needed services.
Facilitators should have a Master’s degree and experience in human services serving diverse populations; strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with other staff members and the County Assistance Office; commitment to student success and student-centered education; and acceptance of community college philosophy, practices, and population.
