When we plan the program for the annual Friedman School Symposium, we search for issues where you’ll
find the most current nutrition concerns at the crossroads with new research and actionable knowledge.
This year, our two main themes focus on pediatric obesity and uniform nutrition labeling and scoring.
Both main topics are of immediate concern to all persons who make policy, counsel patients, work in the food and supplement industries and conduct research.
As always, we’ll bring the best speakers available on each subject, and give you the chance to engage in Q&A sessions with these leaders. We’ll also have our popular “hot topics” – a series of compelling, sometimes controversial, topics to keep the discussion lively. Find out why our attendees consistently call the Symposium one of the best conferences they’ve ever attended. Join us this September in Boston.
I look forward to welcoming you.

Who Should Attend?
The program will address issues facing policymakers, practitioners and industry in the U. S. and the world.
Researchers, academicians, students, industry thought-leaders, policy-makers and media should plan to participate.
