Kensington CAPA seeks guest speakers
Posted by on October 07, 2013
Thursday mornings from 8:45-10:30 the seniors of Kensington High School for the Creative and Performing Arts gather in the theater to hear speakers from various community organizations share about the issues they’re passionate about, how their organization is working on those issues, and what students can do. Seniors then choose one of the topics they’ve heard about and use it as the launching point for their senior project – no longer required by the district, but proven successful at KCAPA. Past presenters include speakers from community organizations like EPIC and The Attic.
Logistically, the senior class is approximately 80 strong and we are open to alternate formats (splitting the group, etc). If you, or a colleague, are interested in presenting, please indicate your interest using this form. Feel free to forward this on to others who may be interested in this opportunity.
