PANO offers free Chesco workshop
The Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations will sponsor a free workshop, Keeping Our Children Safe: Lessons for Nonprofits from Across the Nation on December 6th from 8am to noon at the Graduate Business Center at West Chester University.
The event is co-sponsored by the First Nonprofit Foundation. The forum will help nonprofits consider the policies, programs, and practices that keep children safe. The panelists will draw on the lessons and implications from tragedies at Penn State and other organizations that work with youth. Following the presentations there will be an open forum in which participants will have an opportunity to share concerns and perspectives on the role of organizations in protecting children from harm.
