Kate’s Place Affordable Housing
Posted by on February 18, 2005
In October, Project H.O.M.E. opened its newest housing development: Kate?s Place. Kate’s Place offers 144 units of housing for low- to moderate-income single individuals in the heart of Center City Philadelphia. Units are still available for people with annual incomes of $15,100 to $28,920. We wanted to share the information with you and hope you will pass it along to your friends, coworkers, constituents, and others.
Kate?s Place is a fully renovated high rise building one block from Rittenhouse Square with rents of $475 and $550 per month (including utilities). Kate?s Place is loaded with unique amenities that reflect Project H.O.M.E.?s spirit of community: a library/computer lab with free internet access; a quiet /meditation room; a beautiful community room with kitchen facilities; 24-hour front desk staff; and an on-site laundry facility.
The units are fully furnished with private baths and kitchenettes (microwave, fridge, cabinet, and sink in the $550 units) and are cable-ready. Each floor has a fully equipped kitchen that residents share. The building has central air conditioning and each unit has its own heater/air conditioner unit.
