Kars4Kids Small Grant Program
Posted by Kars4Kids on January 5, 2018
Kars4Kids is dedicated to helping children develop into productive members of their communities.
To that end, the organization’s Small Grant Program program supports educational initiatives and youth development programs in North America with grants ranging from $500 to $2,000. The program is especially interested in encouraging continued education outside of school and empowering future citizens and leaders of the community. Fundable activities include libraries, afterschool programs, mentoring, exercise programs, weekend programming, incentives for continued reading and math work, and anti-bullying initiatives.
Applications for small grants are accepted on a rolling basis. Kars4Kids will seriously consider each application, but due to the large number of requests its receives, it may take up to four months for an applicant to hear from the organization with a final determination.
For an overview of the program, brief descriptions of previous grant winners, and application instructions (or to recommend a nonprofit), see the Kars4Kids website.
