Classics for Kids Foundation Invites Applications From K-12 Music Programs
The Classics for Kids Foundation believes that playing a stringed instrument can transform the life of a child, giving them experiences and skills that make them more successful in life.
To that end, the organization is accepting applications for its matching grant program. Though the program, grants will be awarded to schools or nonprofit organizations interested in incorporating stringed instruments into music education programs. All instruments in the string family are supported (including guitars and ukuleles).
To be eligible, organizations must be based in the United States, have official tax-exempt status, and serve children from kindergarten through grade twelve. The program does not award grants to individuals.
For complete program guidelines and application instructions, see the Classics for Kids Foundation.
Deadline: September 30, 2020
