Posted by on October 26, 2009

Junior Fellowship opportunity for exceptional graduate interested in public service to work for one year beginning July 2010 with an organization in the non-profit child welfare/child abuse prevention sector of the greater Philadelphia area.

The Pennsylvania Council of Children, Youth, & Family Services’ Southeast Region Education and Professional Development Institute has been selected as a potential partner by Stoneleigh Center to offer this fellowship. The Junior Fellow will participate in the development of competency-based training curricula for social workers and case managers working in private agencies serving Philadelphia’s children and youth involved in or at-risk for involvement in the child welfare system. The Fellow’s primary activity will be to develop curricula and outcome measurement instruments, including a transfer of learning protocol, to match the curriculum to the competencies identified. Additionally, they would co-author a paper describing this process for submission to conferences or journals.
