Judy Wicks talk and dinner at La Salle

Judy Wicks, Socially Responsible Business Owner and Leader, will speak on January 29, 2009 at 4:30 in the Dunleavy Room in the Union Building at La Salle University, 1900 W. Olney Avenue. She will speak on how she came to be a business owner who not only makes a profit but also makes a difference. She is a proponent of sustainable business practices and works in creative ways to help alleviate social injustices both here and abroad.
There will be a buffet dinner prepared by Royer Smith, La Salle’s head chef and former chef at the White Dog Cafe, Judy Wicks’ restaurant. This event is sponsored by the Project on Justice.
Reservations are highly recommended. Call 215-951-1804 for a reservation. Cost for the dinner and talk is $5 for students and $10 for faculty, staff and visitors.
