Joyful Readers is a start-up organization committed to helping Philadelphia students gain the literacy skills they need to become successful, confident, and yes…joyful readers! The organization is planning to launch in Fall 2022 with a racially and culturally diverse cohort of 50 AmeriCorps members, who will provide high-quality, research-based reading tutoring daily to 2,000 K-3 students in 20 schools.
Join us on Zoom to learn more about how Joyful Readers is planning to to support students in systemically under-resourced schools to gain the skills they need to succeed in school, at work, and in their daily lives.
