Journalism workshop for youth

The Inquirer is sponsoring a free journalism training workshop for high school students on Saturday, June 18 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Inquirer-Daily News Building, 400 North Broad Street. Students will learn reporting and writing, page layout and design, and ethics in sessions conducted by Inquirer staffers.
Participation is limited. Students interested in attending are required to complete the online application by June 15 at: http://www.philly.com/mld/inquirer/news/special_packages/phillycom_teases/11837499.htm (registration on the philly.com website may be necessary to access the application).
Ideal candidates must possess good verbal skills and have an interest in journalism and working for Teen Zone.
