Highlights from the Latest Edition of the Journal of College Access
By Bill DeBaun, Director of Data and Evaluation, NCAN
Academics among NCAN-member organizations will be interested to know, if they did not already, that our field has a Journal of College Access (JCA). This journal, hosted at Western Michigan University and affiliated with the Michigan College Access Network, has “a focus on how students aspire to, gain access to, enroll in and persist in higher education institutions.” The second edition of the JCA is out, and besides being the largest yet, it has a focus on school counseling and postsecondary success. Read on for highlights from some of this edition’s articles.
