Cabrini University’s Thirteenth Annual Domestic Violence Education Symposium is hosted by The Barbara and John Jordan Center for Children of Trauma and Domestic Violence Education. Join us as we welcome our keynote speaker Lynn Rosenthal, Director of Sexual and Gender-based Violence at the United States Department of Health and Human Services. Lynn Rosenthal has been a fierce advocate in addressing issues of sexual violence, domestic violence and improving the workplace response to violence against women. She was appointed as the first ever White House Advisor on Violence Against Women, co-chaired the White House Task Force to Protect Students from Sexual Assault and most recently was the President for the Center for Family Safety and Healing.

The program will include Lynn Rosenthal as our keynote speaker with an opportunity for a question and answer session. In addition, Lynn Rosenthal will be honored with The Jordan Center Award for Resilience and Advocacy. Lastly, we will conclude the program with a look back at the phenomenal work Cabrini University and the Jordan Center have done together. Through this amazing partnership we have paved the way in educating individuals about dating and domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and the effects of trauma.
