Join the Philadelphia Education Fund’s PPSP Fellows for Instructional Rounds – Jan 30
Posted by Philadelphia Education Fund on January 16, 2024
Help your students make the academic transition from high school to college by joining The Philadelphia Education Fund for Instructional Rounds at La Salle University on Tuesday, February 6th, from 8:30am-2pm.
Instructional Rounds convenes high school and college educators with the aim of bridging the gaps between secondary and postsecondary teaching and learning. Participants will visit college classes for non-evaluative observations and will work together on refinements to their own practice in support of alignment between high school and college instruction.
2023-2024 Focus Area: How can educators facilitate productive student-focused interactions that engage and assist students of all levels of academic preparedness?
Logistics: Breakfast and lunch will be provided. We will begin the day at Holroyd Hall Room 257. Details on parking and directions to the building to follow.
Registration: To join us, please register here by January 30th. Due to the nature of the event, space is limited! We need to cap the number of visitors to each classroom to maintain the authenticity of the teaching and learning we are peering into. While college educators are still welcome to register, high school educators will be given preference for this Instructional Rounds event to facilitate “across the aisle” observation. There will be no cap on registration for our upcoming PPSP Fellows Spring Institute!
