Job Training Coordinator

UrbanPromise Ministries is looking for a self-motivated individual with good organizational and interpersonal skills to work as the Job Training Coordinator for the StreetLeader (SL) Program.  The SL Program enhances the social, spiritual, educational and occupational development of teens while providing positive jobs and leadership opportunities in the community.  Applicants must have experience working with urban youth.  Experience in job training is also a big plus.  This position reports to the Children and Youth Ministries Director.

The Job Training Coordinator will be responsible for

·        the recruitment, training and supervision of between 40 and 70 local teens employed in our AfterSchool Programs and Summer Camps;

·        training and supervising older teens in our Peer Leadership program;

·        creating additional job training opportunities; and

·        working with other staff on educational and spiritual development activities.
