DREXEL COLLEGE OF MEDICINE’S JOB PIPELINE PROGRAM FOR MEDICAL ASSISTANTS
Drexel College of Medicine and University City District’s West Philadelphia Skills Initiative have teamed up to create job opportunities for Certified Medical Assistants who are residents of West Philadelphia.
If you are:
– Unemployed
– A resident of West Philadelphia (as defined by zip codes: 19104, 19131, 19139, 19143 and 19151)
– A currently certified Medical Assistant

Drexel College of Medicine is a premier employer of Medical Assistants in the Philadelphia area. In an effort to build real connections between Drexel and the West Philadelphia community, Drexel and UCD have developed as 12-week program that provides:
– Paid Technical Skills Training
– Mentoring by Seasonal Medical Professionals
– Career Development and Job Coaching Services
– Real job opportunities

Applications may also be obtained at the front desk at University City District at 3940 Chestnut Street
(M-F, 8:30am–5pm).
Information sessions will be held on November 29 (6–7pm), December 6 (6:30–7:30pm), and December 7 (10–11am).
You must RSVP to be admitted to a session. Sessions will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. RSVP by calling UCD at 215-243-0555. Location details will be provided when you call.
Applications are due by December 10 and can be turned in at information sessions.
