Job: Residential Dean, Grade 6-9

This position manages the daily operations of the residential program for grades 6 through 9 including a staff of 17 residential advisors (house parents). Coach, train, evaluate and discipline, when necessary, the residential staff. Administer the salary and activities budget, implement the residential curriculum and activities program, creatively utilize the diverse skills of the residential staff and exercise the leadership skills to create a sense of mission and community among the staff. This position includes on campus housing.

Additional Qualifications:
Requirements include BA/BS in related field, MA/MS preferred; minimum 5 years residential or similar experience in a child centered environment; ability to work an irregular work schedule (wake-up, after school/evening coverage); management/supervisory experience preferred; excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with staff, students and parents.
