Founders First invites applications for Job Creators Quest Grant program
Founders First is a national platform for growing businesses led by diverse founders that offers strategic expansion programs, coaching, and grant resources.
Founders First invites applications for its Job Creators Quest Grant program, through which a total of $100,000 will be awarded to 25 businesses in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Grant recipients will also receive a scholarship to Founder’s First accelerator programs. Grants may be used as growth capital to hire or rehire people for premium-wage jobs or to purchase, fix, or enhance equipment necessary to help manage growth challenges and scale for the future.
To be eligible, applicants must be located in Pennsylvania or New Jersey, have a current staff of two to 20 employees, have the ability to add one to two or more net new premium-wage jobs in the next 12 months, and must be a service-based business, light manufacturing, or B2B or have a service component. The founder must identify as Latinx, Black, Asian, women, LGBTQIA+, or military veteran, or the business must be located in a low- to moderate-income area, and the business must have an annual revenue of between $100,000 and $5 million.
