Job Corps Info Sessions in Bucks County

The Center for Young Professionals is hosting FREE Job Corps information sessions!
The Center for Young Professionals assists out-of-school young adults, ages 16 to 24, in Bucks County entering the emerging workforce aspire to achieve future goals, secure a better paying job, advance a career, earn a better wage, build life skills and gain self sufficiency. The Center for Young Professionals is offering FREE training, workshops and GED preparation to qualified young adults as well as free monthly Job Corps information sessions!
The Job Corps Admissions team will be on site to assist young adults in making career dreams come true. Since 1964 Job Corps has provided an opportunity for millions of young adults to prepare for employment and independent living. Job Corps is where students receive hands-on training in more than 100 career areas in fields such as Construction, Business and Finance, Health Care, Information Technology and more! Information sessions are open to the public.

Wednesday, May 11th 10:00am and Wednesday, June 8th at 10:00am.

The purpose of the information sessions are to provide information to prospective students and their parents about the benefits Job Corps has to offer and what will be expected if you are granted a scholarship to attend a Job Corps Center. The information session may take up to three hours depending upon the size of the group. If you are under the age of 18, your parent or legal guardian must attend this meeting with you and be prepared to stay for the entire session.
The Center for Young Professionals at the PA CareerLink® Bucks County provides FREE job search assistance, coaching, transition planning, and resume preparation. Certification preparation for the National Retail Federation and ServSafe exam is available to young adults who have graduated high school and are looking for employment. Additionally GED Prep and certification is offered to young adults who have dropped out of school (ages 16-24) in Bucks County Area who are seeking full-time employment.
