JEVS’ Strictly Business Awards Luncheon
Posted by on October 20, 2008
Jewish Employment Vocational Services’ Human Services will hold its Strictly Business awards and networking luncheon on Thursday, October 23rd. Kathy Orr of CBS3 Eyewitness News will be Master of Ceremonies for the event, which honors three individuals from the organization’s programs.
For 67 years, JEVS has promoted hope and achievement by enhancing individuals’ employability and self-sufficiency. The organization currently serves 17,000 individuals annually. Each fall at Strictly Business, JEVS shares the stories of some of its extraordinary clients who have overcome significant obstacles to achieve their personal and professional goals. It also recognizes the businesses that have hired and retained the individuals from its programs.
This year, Strictly Business celebrates its 10th anniversary facilitating hiring and retention of hard-working, dedicated individuals. Proceeds from the event will support scholarships to JEVS Human Services vocational assessment, job readiness, skills training and career management services for individuals in need.
The luncheon will be held at Loews Philadelphia Hotel, 12th and Market Streets, Philadelphia. For more information or to register, go here or call 215-854-1877.
