Involving Community Partners for Out of School Time Staff
Posted by on May 7, 2007
Beginning in September, 2006, Philadelphia?s Peer Networking Meetings are being held every month at the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania. April?s meeting attracted 30 participants discussing ?Preparing Your Students for College.? The next Peer Networking Meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2007, from 6:30pm-8:30pm, and address ?Involving Community Partners.?
Peer Networking Meetings provide informal meeting and sharing opportunities for administrative as well as frontline staff. Moreover, attendance now automatically counts toward United Way IMPACT Initiative and PAPathways/DPW training credit hours. For details about upcoming meetings, dates, locations, and topics, contact John Price III, OSTRC Communications Coordinator, at johnep@sp2.upenn.edu or 215-898-0793.
