Introduction to Transformational Intergroup Dialogue
Posted by Blue Door Group on November 20, 2018
Transformational Intergroup Dialogue is a powerful approach that supports participants in uncovering their real thoughts and feelings in relation to issues of diversity and social identity like race, class, gender, sexual orientation and ability issues. Participants are taken through a process to support them in addressing some of their own biases to communicate authentically with others in the room. This helps to build trust and allow for participants to engage with the real people in the room, not their societal representations. Participants both experience and learn this approach to apply to their diversity work.
This training is relevant for educators, managers, and leaders of diverse groups.
