Welcoming Center holds health care course for immigrants
A new course at the Welcoming Center for New Pennsylvanians, Introduction to the US Healthcare System, is designed for immigrant health professionals who aspire to work in the American healthcare field.
The first course starts in September and will continue for 14 weeks. It is designed to provide immigrant doctors, nurses, and others with a practical grounding in American healthcare vocabulary, practices, and professional culture.
