Restorative practices is a practical approach to interacting with children and youth, and is a set of techniques and concepts that can be applied in many contexts to address and prevent conflict and problem behaviors. An alternative to punishment-focused classroom and family discipline models, restorative practices integrates knowledge from a variety of fields and enables people to proactively build healthy communities and families and restore relationships. Developed by IIRP, Introduction to Restorative Practices provides techniques that can be used immediately. Cost is $125. Organizational group rates are available. Questions?
