Workshop helps nonprofits obtain federal funding
Introduction to Federal Funding for Nonprofits is a workshop sponsored by the Regional Foundation Center that will take place on Tuesday, March 9th, from 9:15am to noon at the Parkway Central Library, Montgomery Auditorium, 1901 Vine Street in Philadelphia.
At the workshop, Del Wesley, a grantwriting consultant, and Bobby Polito, consultant and former director of faith-based and community initiatives for the US Dept. of Health and Human Services, will cover the politics, process, positives and pitfalls to federal funding. They will also focus on preparing proposals from the solicitation to the submission. Requirements and resources for federal funding will also be discussed.
