I’m excited to introduce the National Service-Learning Partnership’s [sl_advocacy] listserv, a much-needed forum for service-learning enthusiasts. We are launching this listserv to enable our members to share information, opinions, concerns, and tips for successful service-learning advocacy. We invite you to use the listserv for advice and problem-solving around the challenges facing advocates for “more and better” service-learning.
The [sl_advocacy] listserv will be hosted by the Partnership’s management team at the Academy for Educational Development in New York City and moderated by veteran service-learning expert Sarah Pearson of the American Youth Policy Forum. Thanks to our friends and “good neighbors” at the State Farm Companies Foundation for providing the funding that makes this listserv possible.
