Internship Hosts needed, IT Works

We need 5 more internship opportunities in Philadelphia!
Dear Friend,
We have a critical need for 5 more internship sites in Philadelphia by November 17, 2014. Please let us know if you can help.
ITWorks is a 16 week training program that changes lives. Through 11 weeks of classroom study, and hands-on workshops, ITWorks students prepare for the industry-leading CompTIA A+ Certification. This is over $12,000 worth of training that is offered to these students for free. Through 5 weeks of internship, they build their resume and real-world skills.
The most important part of this program is you. The internship you can offer these students gives them the start they need. It gives them a critical component of their resume, a reference, and an opportunity to put their newfound skills to good use.
Check out our Success Stories and read about ITWorks graduates working in the IT industry.

We can promise, the students we have available now are among the best students we’ve had in the program. You will not be disappointed. The opportunity can be paid or unpaid. We can provide transportation dollars to the students so they can get to your facility.
Why host an ITWorks intern?
· ITWorks Interns are an affordable way to give your organization extra capacity. They are immediately useful within your organization due to their extensive training, and they are fully supported by our team.
· This internship experience will change the student’s income potential for life by giving them valuable “on the job” experience.
· You can make this program a life-changing experience for our students.
Interns are expected to work 9 am-3 pm, Monday through Thursday, for 5 weeks. On Fridays, students will come back to the classroom to debrief on the week and be taught additional professional skills. Internships can be either paid or unpaid. Our paid internships average $10-12 an hour, for 24 hours a week.
