ASSISTANT TO THE PUBLISHER
Logan News Group/DMB Communications-Philadelphia is seeking an intern to serve as ASSISTANT TO THE PUBLISHER.
Start date: September 8, 2003 Apply now.
The ideal candidate will be able to handle multiple assignments at once; be familiar with Philadelphia’s politics, communities and organizations.
Interest in Journalism, desk top publishing, Media/Media relations, and/or Mass Communications. The position will vary in hours from 10-18 hours weekly…will accomodate school schedule. Attend community gatherings and represent publisher and The Logan TIMES~Independent. Write a weekly column and work closely with publisher to create a web presence.
Experience with publishing software and web page design is strongly desirable.
